The WCHS Lady Hawks defeated Hephzibah 83-50 Friday, Feb. 17th in the 2nd round of region tournaments.  Leading scorer was Allisha Gray with 36 points, 2 assists, 8 reb., 4 blocks, and 4 steals.  Shonterria Kitchens scored 15 points, 3 assists, 5 reb., and 2 steals.  Kala Brown scored 12 points, 2 assists, 4 reb., 1 block, and 5 steals.  Tierra Murray scored 10 points, 5 assists, 8 reb., and 2 steals.  
    Congratulations to the Region 3-AAA Champions 2011-2012!!  The Lady Hawks defeated Westside, Augusta 64-48 Sat., Feb 18th, in the final round of the region tournament.  Leading scorer was Allisha Gray with 30 points, 2 assists, 10 reb., 2 blocks, and 5 steals.  Shonterria Kitchens had 19 points, 3 assists, 3 reb., 1 block, and 2 steals.  The Lady Hawks are currently 27-0 and continue their 59 game winning streak!
    The first round of the State Playoffs (Top 32) will be held at WCHS for the Lady Hawks as they host Eastside Eagles of Covington, Friday, Feb. 24th at 6 p.m. Join the Lady Hawks in the Hawks' Nest as they enjoy home court advantage!
